I don't think may places would get a 5 star rating for a root canal, but somehow, you mange to do that. The staff was so caring and concerned. The doctor was gentle and kind and did amazing work.

Rootsuage. That's what it should be called. If, like me, the term "root canal" has always conjured up images of excavation tools and is synonymous with pain, then choose North Penn Endodontics and prepare to be enlightened. After a thorough explanation of the whys, hows, and wherefores of the procedure, Dr. Gregory J. Newman, DMD, demonstrated his superior fine motor skill using the most advanced dental [italics]instruments[italics]. Dr. Greg took my challenging skepticism in stride, assuaged my concern, and he and his expert assistant, Karen, kept me at ease throughout my visit with their continuous goodnatured conversation. I was indeed fortunate to have such an experienced team for my "rootsuage." Now, six hours later, the effects of the lidocaine have worn off completely, and so far so good; seriously, I've had hangnails that caused me more grief. That's my story for what it's worth; your mileage may vary.

The staff at North Penn Endodontics was by far the most accommodating and extremely knowledgable, professional dental group I have ever experienced in my entire life. Dr. Greg Newman fixed a very painful issue and now hours later am no longer in any pain at all. It turned out to be the best dental visit I have ever had in my life. Because of a misfortunate procedure from my regular dentist office, I ended up needing emergency work and Dr. Ingrid did my root canal therapy. I can't say enough about her. She was wonderful from start to finish. She is kind, caring, compassionate and very professional. She was very considerate during the procedure, making sure I was comfortable and not in any discomfort (which I wasn't). I had to make an unexpected visit to N.P.E after my regular dentist decided that was my next step for my tooth pain. This practice took me in immediately and instead of having just the preliminary consultation visit I had a root canal done as well No chance to dwell on the anxiety at all! Never had much problem with my teeth ... a cavity here and there. So when I started having sensitivity issues across several teeth, I was concerned. My dentist referred me to North Penn Endodontics. (They even checked to make sure they were in the network for me.) Long story short ... I couldn't be more surprised by how well I was treated (personally and medically) by everyone. It is abundantly clear that Dr. Greg Neuman is very dedicated to his profession and did an excellent job with my procedure. Before, during, and after the process, Dr. Neuman explained what he was going to do, why he was doing it, and reviewed the results through explanation and xrays. To have tooth pain and then be told you need your first root canal - you remember every horror story you ever heard and fear rises quickly BUT as soon as I arrived and sat in the dreaded chair, my fears were swept away by a friendly, empathetic staff who made you feel at ease. Then bring Dr. Greg Newman in the picture and you quickly understand everything about the procedure, what is being done, and get a sense of confidence and ease that all will be well. I had no pain, discomfort at all during the entire experience and so enjoyed the 70-80 tunes being played. I would highly recommend North Penn Endodontics - a practice that definitely puts their patients first as well as talks TO their patients NOT at them.

My entire experience from first phone call until the finish of the root canal was absolutely wonderful. I have had very bad root canal experiences in the past and always had problems getting numb. I went into my appointment with a ton of anxiety but Dr. Robert Newman and his staff put me at complete ease. Dr Newman is very caring and explained the root canal procedure as he went along. He knew i was very anxious and he relieved my anxiety by making sure he would attend to me if i felt any pain. Yesterday AM I visited my dentist for 3 weeks of cold sensitivity. After x rays he told me I need immediate root canal as I was to embark on a trip in 2 days.. He gave me the name of a few endodontists. I called them and I alsocalled an old friend who is an endodontist. No luck but the old friend's office offered me an appt for a consultation the next day. Not treatment, a consultation. I called North Penn and they got me in that day at 2:30. I sent an hour in the chair and the entire root canal was completed. Painless. Great anesthesia and Dr Robert Newman even called later to make sure I was doing OK. Didn't even need Tylenol. As far as root canal goes, you cannot have a better experience.

Usually when you think about root canal it makes your blood run cold. However, in my experience under the care of Dr. Greg Newman at North Penn Endodontics, all fear of pain, both during and after the procedure fades away. I have had several root canal treatments by Dr. Greg Newman over the years, the last over 15 years ago. When I was told I needed another root canal treatment the last week, I didn't hesitate to call North Penn and request an appointment with Dr. Greg. No pain! (Before, during or after) - You don't even feel it when he gives you a shot of Novocain! Highly recommend.
